The character "Captain Bioloogy" was created for a series of audio dramas to present major concepts of Biology in a more interesting way. Capt. Biology came from another planet to study life on Earth and could shrink himself and his assistant "Igor" the talking frog. Using minature vehicles and equipment, the Captain and Igor could travel inside plants, animals and humans to discover how they functioned. The programs included music and sound effects and students used battery powered cassette players to listen and complete worksheets as the sat outdoor on campus.

When the computer lab was completed in Room 106 the program was adapted to audio files with onscreen questions and quizzes. Students used headphones to listen to the dramas as part of a computer assisted educational program that included simulated labs, review activities and assisted dissections and regular class labs as part of the CATS program.

By 2000, the program included "CSI-Orange High" a forensic science component that involved a simulated murder mystery to review Biology concepts. Students applied  these concepts in forensuc labs involving Trace evidence, Cells, Insects, Fingerprients, Blood and DNA to keep students involved through out the year.
